Just last week this tree was a blooming example of Spring, which has overtaken Abilene. Many of the lovely white flowers have now fallen, presumably a result of the ferocious winds that blew through over the weekend. I have been wanting to take a picture, but it seems I was a little too late to capture the beauty of the tree in full bloom.
